We are interested in coaches comfortable with multiple sports. This is an ideal role for: Former athletes Players Coaches Education or sport management students Teachers or paraprofessionals Individuals passionate about mentorship and youth development Coaches will help create a safe, engaging, and encouraging environment while teaching sports fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Responsibilities Lead and assist youth sports camps, clinics, leagues, and after-school programs Teach fundamentals in sports such as basketball, flag football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, and more Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants Utilize positive reinforcement coaching techniques Ensure safety, organization, and professionalism during all programming Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and community partners Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled programs Help with equipment setup and cleanup Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Previous coaching, teaching, childcare, or mentoring experience Experience working with youth ages 4-14 Strong communication and leadership skills Passion for sports and youth development Reliable transportation Ability to pass background check Bonus Qualifications CPR/First Aid Certified Sport-specific playing or coaching experience Experience in school enrichment or recreation programming What We Look For At NAofA, we value coaches who: Bring energy and enthusiasm Prioritize FUN while teaching fundamentals Serve as positive role models Lead with professionalism and encouragement Help kids build confidence and love being active Schedule Programs typically run: Weekday afternoons Early evenings Saturdays Seasonal camps during school breaks and summer Flexible scheduling available based on availability.
