Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, travel position
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab Deliver patient care under RN supervision, ensuring safety and comfort Assist physicians as a scrub tech, maintaining sterile technique throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures Operate complex imaging equipment, document procedure images and clinical events from the control room Educate patients and families about procedures, pre- and post-care, and address questions or concerns Maintain organized, clean unit and ensure adequate stock levels for advanced procedures Accurately complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation as per departmental standards Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives by identifying process improvements and potential hazards Support organizational goals, mission, and values
Qualifications:
Associate degree or relevant certification in Radiologic Technology or related field Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab setting strongly preferred Current applicable state licensure/certification Strong communication skills and patient education abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
