Job Description

Overview We are looking for a Cheer instructor for our program. We also need someone who has tumbling experience. We have an amazing program that continues to grow. Responsibilities Design and teach cheerleading routines, tumbling, and team formations tailored to various age groups and skill levels Lead engaging practices that emphasize teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship Foster a safe environment by implementing proper techniques for stunts, jumps, dance moves, and formations Motivate participants to improve their skills through constructive feedback and encouragement Organize performances for school events, competitions, or community showcases Monitor behavior management during sessions to ensure respectful and focused participation Collaborate with other coaches or instructors to develop comprehensive training programs incorporating elements of gymnastics, martial arts like karate or judo, or other physical activities such as climbing or basketball Requirements Previous experience in cheerleading is required Background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children and youth programs Ability to demonstrate leadership while maintaining a positive attitude and energetic presence Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students of diverse backgrounds Familiarity with behavior management techniques to foster respectful participation in group settings This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about inspiring others through movement and sports!
