Job Description:

Middle School Volleyball Coach Position Summary The Middle School Volleyball Coach is responsible for developing, organizing, and leading a Volleyball program that fosters students' interest in volleyball and indoor recreation. The coach will work closely with students to develop their Volleyball skills, sportsmanship, and overall physical fitness.

Responsibilities Program Development:

Design and implement a comprehensive Volleyball program. Create engaging and challenging training plans and workouts that cater to students' varying skill levels. Develop and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for students.

Team Coaching:

Mentor and guide student Volleyball teams in preparation for competitions. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and sportsmanship among team members. Help students develop essential skills such as communication, leadership, and time management.

Equipment Management:

Ensure that all necessary equipment is in good condition and properly maintained. Procure necessary materials and supplies for the program.

Community Outreach:

Represent the school and Volleyball program at community events and competitions. Promote Volleyball and indoor recreation within the local community. Qualifications Experience coaching or mentoring youth in sports or indoor sporting activities. Strong understanding of Volleyball techniques, equipment, and training principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Passion for Volleyball and a commitment to fostering student success. Preferred Qualifications Experience competing in Volleyball competitions. Certification in Volleyball coaching or instruction. Familiarity with the specific terrain and conditions of the local area. Experience working with grant funding and fundraising initiatives.
