The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching skills in tumbling and cheer. This role involves educating and engaging children in physical activities while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. The Instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans. Teach fundamental cheerleading, and tumbling. Provide instruction on safety practices while participating in physical activities. Foster a supportive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth among students. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Maintain a clean and safe gym environment for all participants. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Participate in training sessions to enhance coaching techniques and stay updated on best practices. Qualifications Previous experience in childcare or working with children in a coaching or educational capacity. Strong knowledge of coaching techniques. Ability to create an engaging learning environment that motivates children to participate actively. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required. A passion for cheer and tumbling is essential. Must be able to demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and leadership qualities.
