Job Description

Youth Sports Coach — Kids Ninja Gym (Part-Time) For most of our kids, this is their first sport. Before soccer tryouts, before the swim team, before any of it — they're here. Learning to run, jump, climb, hang, and land. You'll teach them the athletic building blocks everything else gets built on, and you'll be one of the first coaches they ever have. Kids remember that coach. You get to be that person a few times a week. Ultimate Ninjas Academy is a ninja obstacle-course gym for kids 12 and under in Loveland. We're hiring part-time coaches. No ninja experience needed — we train you on everything. What you'll do Lead classes for kids ages 3-12 — demo the obstacles, coach technique, keep the energy up Teach the fundamentals: balance, coordination, grip strength, safe landings, body control Keep every kid safe and every kid included Talk with parents at pickup about what their kid worked on that day Run birthday parties and special events like Parents' Night Out Sanitize equipment after class and help with setup and teardown What we're looking for You genuinely like kids and can hold the attention of eight five-year-olds Comfortable being active — you're on the floor demonstrating the whole shift Reliable and on time Any athletic or coaching background helps (gymnastics, cheer, climbing, martial arts, dance, team sports, teaching, camp counseling) but is not required CPR/First Aid is a plus — we'll help you get certified if you don't have it Training We teach you how to run a class, how to coach a skill, how to spot safely, and how to handle a birthday party. Show up coachable and we'll do the rest. Training is paid. Who tends to do well here This job fits a lot of different people. Former athletes who miss the gym. Parents who want hours that line up with the school day. Students building experience for education, kinesiology, or health-science programs. Anyone looking for a second job that's actually fun. What our best coaches have in common isn't a background — it's that they show up, they're steady with kids, and they'd rather move around than sit at a desk. Growth We promote from inside. Coaches who show initiative move into key holder, lead coach, and management roles, with pay increases at each step.
