Quinnipiac University invites applications for the full-time position of Assistant Coach, Women's Softball. This position will assist in program management including coaching, administration, recruitment and coordination of a collegiate Women's Softball program. The University is a member of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Hockey League (ECAC), the Metro Conference, the Northeast Conference (NEC) , and is an NCAA Division I member sponsoring 22 varsity sports.

Responsibilities:
Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and work in compliance with all University, NCAA and Conference regulations Coach student-athletes during team practices as well as home and away contests Primarily responsible for the instruction of position specific skills Assist with recruiting (on and off campus as assigned), scheduling, budget administration and team promotion Assist in the future development of Women's Softball alumni and community relations Assist the Head Coach with daily/weekly/seasonal practice planning Assist with team travel, scheduling and budgeting Assist with fundraising Assist with game and practice film edits Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in softball required Softball skills required Effective oral and written communication skills required Proficient in Microsoft Office Ability to manage a 2-3 hour practice Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to work nights and weekends Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and/or a commitment to diversity and inclusion Special Instructions to
