Hartford, CT Job Details Part-time $2,000 - $10,000 a year 3 days ago Benefits Fuel card Qualifications Sports team experience Instructional adaptability Full Job Description USA Prime Hartford Valley is looking for a passionate and experienced Head Softball Coach to lead either our 10U or 14U programs starting Fall 2026. About the role You'll step into a head coaching role with USA Prime Hartford Valley in Hartford, CT, guiding a competitive group through the Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 season. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on young athletes while representing a respected name in travel softball. Responsibilities You'll plan and run structured practices that push players to improve every session. On game days, you'll lead the bench, make in-game decisions, and keep your team focused and competitive. A core part of your work will be developing hitters and fielders through intentional, skill-based instruction that carries over from practice to game situations. Qualifications You bring at least 2 years of coaching experience to this role, and prior head coaching experience is preferred. You're organized, dependable, and committed to developing players both on and off the field. You're comfortable working across two age groups and adapting your coaching style to meet athletes where they are. Schedule and Compensation This role runs from September 1, 2026 through Summer 2027 and requires approximately 4 to 6 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $3,000 to $7,000 based on experience and the scope of your responsibilities across the program. Benefits You'll receive branded USA Prime gear to wear on and off the field. Tournament travel expenses are covered so you're not out of pocket when the team hits the road. You'll also receive a gas card to help offset your local travel throughout the season.
