Job Overview Are you passionate about inspiring teamwork, fostering enthusiasm, and leading energetic performances? We are seeking a dynamic Cheerleading Coach to motivate our REVEL cheer squads. In this role, you will be responsible for training young athletes in cheer routines, promoting team spirit, and ensuring safe and engaging practices. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help athletes reach their full potential while creating a positive, energetic environment that celebrates dedication and teamwork. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence young athletes and contribute to their growth both on and off the competition floor. Responsibilities Design and teach cheerleading routines for our recreational program athletes that will be performed at exhibitions throughout the year. Collaborate as an assistant coach for the competitive competition program, traveling to weekend competitions. Lead regular practices focusing on technique, choreography, stunting, tumbling, and safety protocols. Foster a supportive team environment that encourages sportsmanship, discipline, and confidence. Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to improve skills and performance. Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards, including proper use of mats, spotting techniques, and emergency procedures such as AED operation. Communicate regularly with athletes' parents or guardians regarding team updates, schedules, and individual development. Previous experience working with children or youth sports teams is highly preferred. Strong background in cheerleading with knowledge of stunting, tumbling, dance, and choreography, preference for previous USASF experience. Basic first aid and CPR certification will be obtained within 60 days of employment, certification costs covered through Revel. Ability to demonstrate leadership through effective communication skills and behavior management techniques. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
