The Position The HeadCoach of Swimming and Diving has an exciting opportunity to lead a program with a strong history and significant potential. Reporting to theDirector of Athletics and Recreation, the Head Coach provides vision and leadership for all aspects of the SCSU Swimming and Diving program,with a primary focus on developing a high-quality student-athlete experience. Consistent with the values of NCAA Division II, the head coachprovides a competitive athletic experience while supporting the academic success and overall, well-being of student-athletes. Responsibilities also include recruiting, training, fiscal oversight, administrative duties, alumni engagement, fundraising, andcommunity engagement activities. Working collaboratively with the Athletics and Recreation team, campus colleagues, alumni and otherstakeholders, the head coach will maximize visibility for the athletics program to develop university spirit and pride. Thisposition is a full-time, 10-month contractual position. Position Requirements Master's degree preferred and eight (8)years of appropriate professional level experience are required. The head coach must exhibit an ability to effectivelywork with a diverse population of student-athletes and coaches in a cultural climate that celebrates diversity.
