Swim Instructor

Swim Instructor Opportunity We're a family-owned and operated swim school looking to add a reliable, motivated Swim Instructor to our team. We take what we do seriously—teaching swimming and water safety is important work—but we also believe it should be done in a positive, encouraging environment. We're looking for someone who can balance professionalism, structure, and energy on deck. As a Swim Instructor, you'll work with swimmers of all ages to build strong water safety habits, confidence, and swimming skills while upholding our standards for safety, consistency, and instruction.

Responsibilities:

Teach private and small-group swim lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels Follow structured lesson plans focused on water safety, skill progression, and proper technique Provide clear instruction, correction, and encouragement to swimmers Track swimmer progress and adjust lessons as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pool environment Enforce pool rules and safety procedures at all times Communicate professionally with parents regarding progress and expectations Represent the swim school in a calm, confident, and positive manner

Qualifications:

Previous swim instruction or lifeguarding experience preferred Strong swimming ability and comfort demonstrating basic strokes and skills CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to complete—can be done at our facility) Dependable, punctual, and professional Comfortable working with children and families Ability to take direction, follow procedures, and work as part of a team Positive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility
