Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic sports program as a Volleyball Coach and Assistant Coach, where you'll inspire and develop student-athletes through engaging training sessions, strategic game play, and positive mentorship. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster teamwork, discipline, and athletic excellence in a vibrant school or community setting. Your passion for volleyball and sports coaching will help nurture young talent while promoting healthy lifestyles and character building. Duties Lead and organize volleyball practices, drills, and skill development sessions for teams of various age groups Assist in planning game strategies, analyzing team performance, and supporting game-day execution Provide guidance on sportsmanship, teamwork, and behavior management to foster a positive team environment Support the head coach in recruiting, training, and mentoring student-athletes to reach their full potential Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate team activities, tournaments, and events Ensure safety protocols are followed during all practices and competitions, including basic first aid when necessary Promote a culture of respect, discipline, and enthusiasm that encourages student engagement and personal growth Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or physical education instruction is highly desirable Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies; experience with other sports such as basketball or cheerleading is a plus Lifeguard experience or certifications are beneficial for supporting overall health and safety initiatives Background in martial arts (Karate, Judo) or swimming can enhance coaching versatility Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings Strong skills in behavior management, teaching physical skills, and motivating youth players Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for practices and competitions This energetic role invites passionate individuals committed to making a positive impact through sports.
