Job Description

Our youth sports program is looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and experienced Cheer Coach to join our team and help lead a group of children ages 4 to 11. If you enjoy working with kids, have a passion for cheer and youth development, and want to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you!
Start date:
Sept. 8th! (Tuesday) 2026 URGENTLY

Responsibilities:
Organize and lead fun, age-appropriate cheerleading sessions for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Teach essential cheer skills, including chants, basic stunts, dance motions, and performance techniques. Creates an upbeat, team-focused environment that builds confidence and school spirit. Prioritize the safety and supervision of all participants throughout each practice. Communicate clearly and positively with both children and parents. Support the growth and skill development of each athlete while keeping classes engaging and encouraging.
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience, preferably with children ages 4 to 11. Preferred but not required. Must have cheer experience whether as a coach or one's self, absolutely required. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to inspire and connect with young athletes in an encouraging way. Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to weekly cheer practices on Tuesdays from 2:10 PM to 3:45 PM.
