  • Part-time Keys Gate Charter High School is seeking a passionate and motivated Head Coach for the Boys & Girls Varsity Wrestling Program.
This individual will provide leadership for all aspects of the wrestling program while creating a culture centered on discipline, accountability, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence. Essential Responsibilities Lead and oversee all operations of the Boys and Girls Varsity Wrestling programs. Design and implement comprehensive training plans focused on individual and team development. Teach proper wrestling techniques while prioritizing athlete safety and injury prevention. Supervise student-athletes during practices, competitions, conditioning sessions, and team events. Promote academic success, leadership, character development, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, school administration, officials, and the community. Coordinate scheduling, transportation, equipment, and program operations with the Athletic Director. Assist with fundraising, and the continued growth of the wrestling program. Qualifications Previous wrestling coaching and/or competitive wrestling experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and motivational skills. Ability to develop wrestlers of varying skill levels while maintaining a positive and disciplined environment. Must possess a thorough understanding of FHSAA rules, regulations, eligibility requirements, weight management procedures, and athletic policies. Ability to successfully complete all required FHSAA, district, and school compliance requirements. Must successfully pass all required background screening and employment requirements. Keys Gate Charter High School is seeking a coach who is committed to building a championship-caliber wrestling program while developing student-athletes into leaders on and off the mat.
