The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading practice sessions, teaching proper technique and safety protocols, and providing feedback to cheerleaders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cheerleading, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. The ideal candidate must be willing to dedicate 2 nights per week (preferably Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursday) between 6-8pm, for practice. They will also dedicate a few weekends a year (4-5_ for travel to various events and competitions. This position is for weekday evenings, teaching youth ages 6-16. Experience with teaching children is a plus! Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, creating competition routines, and basic record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement cheerleading routines. Organize and lead practice sessions and competitions. Teach cheerleading techniques, stunts, and tumbling skills. Develop and maintain a positive team environment. Ensure safety of all participants during practice and competition. Provide feedback to team members on their performance. Communicate with parents regarding the progress of their children. Attend competitions and events as necessary
