Cheerleading Coach Crystal's World of Dance Lakeland, FL Job Details Part-time $16 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Student record keeping Sports coaching Team development Working with children Instructor-led training (training delivery method) 1 year Lifeguard experience Cheerleading Team motivation (leadership skill) Communication skills Teaching Safety protocol implementation Entry level AED Certification Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cheerleading Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading practice sessions, teaching proper technique and safety protocols, and providing feedback to cheerleaders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cheerleading, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. The ideal candidate must be willing to dedicate 2 nights per week (preferably Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursday) between 6-8pm, for practice. They will also dedicate a few weekends a year (4-5_ for travel to various events and competitions. This position is for weekday evenings, teaching youth ages 6-16. Experience with teaching children is a plus! Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, creating competition routines, and basic record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cheerleading routines. Organize and lead practice sessions and competitions. Teach cheerleading techniques, stunts, and tumbling skills. Develop and maintain a positive team environment. Ensure safety of all participants during practice and competition. Provide feedback to team members on their performance. Communicate with parents regarding the progress of their children. Attend competitions and events as necessary
