This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to athletic excellence, promote teamwork, and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential. Your enthusiasm, coaching skills, and commitment to sports education will help create a motivating and engaging atmosphere for all participants. Duties Assist the head coach in planning and executing volleyball practices, drills, and game strategies Support athlete skill development through sports-specific training instruction and coaching techniques Help monitor player performance, provide constructive feedback, and encourage sportsmanship Ensure safety protocols are followed during practices and games, including AED operation and emergency response readiness Promote positive behavior management and team cohesion among players of diverse backgrounds Contribute to event setup, equipment management, and maintaining a clean training environment Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, staff, and officials to foster a collaborative team culture Skills Prior experience in volleyball coaching or playing at competitive levels Knowledge of sports coaching principles, physical education teaching methods, and behavior management strategies Lifeguard experience or certification is a plus for supporting health and safety initiatives Proficiency in sports-specific training instruction across various disciplines such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (Judo, Karate), swimming, or gymnastics enhances versatility Strong communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with team members effectively Experience working with children or students in educational or recreational settings Familiarity with AED operation and emergency response procedures for ensuring athlete safety Background in health club or gym environments is advantageous for understanding fitness fundamentals This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to make a positive impact on young athletes' lives while developing their coaching expertise.
