Role:

Alper JCC Miami is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Basketball Coach to lead youth basketball sessions in a positive, structured, and fun environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship while fostering a safe and engaging experience for participants.

Schedule:

Monday•

Thursdays:

4:00 PM•6:15 PM.

Saturdays:

12:00 PM•4:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead basketball practices focused on skill development and game fundamentals. Coaching a youth league team Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for players of varying skill levels. Ensure participant safety at all times. Communicate effectively with JCC staff, parents, and participants. Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled sessions.

Qualifications:

Prior basketball coaching or playing experience (youth coaching preferred). Ability to work well with children and teens. Strong communication and leadership skills. Dependable, energetic, and professional demeanor. Background check required.
