Job Description

Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach 14901 SW 42nd Street, Miami, FL 33185 Seasonal Seasonal Pinecrest Preparatory Middle-High School is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach to lead our student-athletes during the 2026 volleyball season. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing players both athletically and personally while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive competitive environment. Responsibilities Plan and conduct daily practices and skill development sessions. Coach the varsity girls volleyball team during regular season and postseason competitions. Develop game strategies and prepare athletes for competition. Promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, and good sportsmanship. Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes. Communicate effectively with players, parents, athletic administration, and school staff. Maintain compliance with school, conference, and state athletic association policies. Assist with equipment inventory and care. Attend required coaches' meetings and professional development sessions. Qualifications Previous volleyball coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred. Experience working with high school student-athletes is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate and mentor students in a positive learning environment. Must be able to successfully complete all required background screenings and coaching certifications required by the school and the State of Florida before the start of the season. Schedule Season runs July through October . Practices are typically held after school on weekdays. Availability for evening games and occasional weekend tournaments is required.
