Swim Instructor

Little Aquatics was founded in 2003 with a passion for teaching children to swim and ensuring water safety. We provide high-quality swim lessons across multiple locations, focusing on creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for learners of all ages. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team! In this role, you will lead engaging swimming lessons for children and adults, fostering water confidence and safety skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire learners to develop their swimming abilities while ensuring a positive experience in the pool. Lead structured swim lessons for children, infants, and adults, tailoring instruction to individual skill levels Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices Engage students with motivating coaching methods to encourage progress Monitor participants' behavior and provide effective behavior management during lessons Ensure the safety of all swimmers by enforcing pool rules and responding promptly to emergencies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment at all times Collaborate with team members to develop lesson plans that incorporate sports coaching elements like basketball or cheerleading when appropriate Prior experience as a Lifeguard or in sports coaching, teaching, or martial arts such as Karate, Judo, or Swimming is highly desirable Strong background in teaching physical education or working with children and students of various ages Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive learning environments Certifications in Lifeguarding or Water Safety Instruction are preferred but not required; training can be provided Passion for teaching and inspiring learners of all ages in water-based activities such as climbing, gymnastics, or martial arts Ability to communicate clearly and motivate students effectively Enthusiastic team player committed to safety, fun, and skill development

Pay:

$18.00 - $36.00 per hour
