A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.

North Miami Beach and surrounding school locations What You'll Do Lead engaging soccer practices for elementary students (Grades K-5). Teach soccer fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Keep students engaged through energetic and organized practices. Build strong relationships with students, school staff, and families. Represent GALA Empire professionally at every program location. Arrive prepared, punctual, and ready to lead every session. The ideal candidate:
Has experience coaching soccer, teaching sports, or working with elementary-aged children. Has a strong understanding of soccer fundamentals and player development. Is energetic, patient, encouraging, and confident leading young athletes. Is professional, dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Communicates well with students, parents, school staff, and team members. Takes pride in preparation, organization, and creating a high-quality experience. Has reliable transportation and can travel locally within the North Miami Beach area. Who Succeeds at GALA Empire Successful coaches: Love working with children and making a positive impact. Understand that coaching is about developing the person, not just the player. Qualifications Required Soccer knowledge and experience playing, coaching, or teaching the sport. Experience working with children ages K-5. Strong communication and leadership skills. Reliable transportation. Preferred Club, travel, recreation, school, or academy coaching experience. PE teaching or classroom management experience. CPR/First Aid Certification. Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole).
