Duties Plan and organize youth baseball practices, drills, and game strategies that promote skill development and enjoyment. Teach fundamental baseball techniques such as batting, pitching, catching, base running, and fielding in an age-appropriate manner. Foster a positive team environment by encouraging sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork among players. Manage team logistics including scheduling games, coordinating transportation, and communicating with parents and guardians. Monitor player behavior on and off the field to promote good conduct and address any disciplinary issues promptly. Incorporate additional physical activities such as swimming or martial arts like karate or judo to enhance overall athleticism and coordination. Lifeguard experience or certifications are advantageous for integrating water safety into program activities.
