Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Competitive Gymnastics Coach to join our team! This position involves coaching athletes in our Xcel programs, helping them develop strong technical skills, confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for the sport. Our ideal candidate is motivated, positive, and committed to athlete growth both in and out of the gym. You'll play a key role in preparing gymnasts for competitions while fostering a supportive, team-focused environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 9:00 PM Weekends required during meet season Additional hours may be available for private lessons, clinics, and camps
Responsibilities:
Coach and develop athletes in Xcel and/or Optional levels Create structured, engaging, and safe practice plans Prepare athletes for competitions, including routine development and meet readiness Provide constructive feedback and goal setting for gymnasts Ensure a positive, encouraging, and disciplined training environment Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff Assist with choreography, conditioning, and skill progression Uphold gym policies, safety standards, and team culture
Qualifications:
Previous experience coaching competitive gymnastics Strong knowledge of gymnastics skills, progressions, and routines Positive attitude with strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire athletes of all levels Reliable, professional, and team-oriented USAG membership (or willingness to obtain) preferred
