Middle School & High School | Boys & Girls Soccer American Youth Academy (AYA) Athletics is seeking experienced and motivated soccer coaches to join our growing Middle School and High School soccer programs. ABOUT THE PROGRAM AYA

is a growing 1A/2A school athletic program focused on developing competitive teams while creating a positive, disciplined, and professional environment for our student-athletes. We are looking for coaches who understand that successful school athletics is about more than running drills. We want coaches who can develop players, establish a strong team culture, communicate effectively, and help continue building our soccer program.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates will have previous soccer coaching and/or high-level playing experience. We are especially interested in candidates with: Middle School, High School, club, academy, or competitive youth coaching experience Strong knowledge of soccer tactics, training, and player development Ability to plan and lead organized practices Experience evaluating players and building competitive rosters Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, families, and Athletics administration A professional and dependable approach to practices and games Coaching certifications or licenses are strongly preferred but not required

COACHING RESPONSIBILITIES

Coaches may be responsible for: Planning and conducting team practices Player development and evaluation Assisting with tryouts and team selection Developing appropriate tactical and technical training Coaching scheduled home and away games Maintaining team discipline and expectations Communicating with AYA Athletics and coaching staff Promoting sportsmanship and positive team culture Supporting the continued development of the AYA Soccer program

SCHEDULE

Positions are primarily after school and may include weekday practices, games, and occasional additional team activities. Specific schedules will depend on the team and coaching assignment.

COMPENSATION

Paid hourly coaching positions. Hourly compensation will be determined based on coaching experience, playing background, certifications/licenses, qualifications, and assigned responsibilities.
