Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cheerleading and Dance Coach, where your passion for sports, movement, and youth development will inspire and energize young athletes. In this role, you will lead cheerleading and dance teams through engaging practices and performances, fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Whether coaching beginners or experienced performers, your enthusiasm will help create a positive environment that encourages growth and fun. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives while developing your coaching skills in a vibrant, energetic setting. This is an after school program. Time is 3-5 or 2-4 ( Wednesdays) Work 3-5 days a week depending on your availability. Duties Plan and execute engaging cheerleading and dance routines tailored to different skill levels Lead practices that focus on technique, choreography, teamwork, and sportsmanship Motivate students to achieve their personal best through positive reinforcement and behavior management Organize team performances at events, competitions, and community activities Ensure safety during all activities by supervising participants and maintaining proper equipment use Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create inclusive programs that promote physical activity and confidence Foster a fun, energetic atmosphere that encourages student participation and enjoyment Experience Previous coaching experience in cheerleading or dance is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Background in sports coaching or teaching physical education helps to effectively guide students of diverse ages and skill levels Knowledge of cheerleading routines, dance choreography, Experience working with children or youth in childcare or educational settings demonstrates strong behavior management skills Familiarity with health clubs or gyms supports safe training practices and fitness development Skills in swimming, climbing, or other physical activities can enhance coaching versatility Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members are vital for success Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels young athletes' passions!
