Summary The Community Coach•Girls Lacrosse is responsible for overseeing the KRCS Girls Lacrosse Program, including the vision, philosophy, professional development, coordination, instruction and development of the entire Lacrosse program. The Coach is responsible for providing the Lacrosse student-athletes and staff with a quality sport experience in a biblically integrated environment. Essential Functions Strategically lead the Lacrosse Program consistent with the mission, philosophy, and vision of the KR Department of Athletics and KRCS. Coordinate and manage are practice and meet schedules. Manage the Lacrosse budgets. Coordinate, manage, mentor, develop and evaluate all assistant Lacrosse coaches. Coordinate and develop players at all levels. Collaborate with the Director of Campus Enhancement to oversee the Lacrosse facilities and coordinate meet management. Coordinate and manage all Lacrosse communications with players, parents, community, athletic department, KRCS, and local community. Contract all meet officials. Coordinate all meet management and parent personnel. Coordinate and document all Lacrosse records, awards and recognitions for the entire program. Spiritual Is in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Provides a faith integrated lacrosse environment. Takes responsibility for being a spiritual role model and leader for students. Obeys Christ by maintaining a demeanor of Christian ethics and integrity. Consistently strives to exhibit Christian behavior in all aspects of one's life. Administrative Makes parents feel their child is known as an individual. Keeps relationship with parents on a professional level. Communicates student athlete's success. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with parents Qualifications Previous and successful experience as a Head Lacrosse Coach, 3+ years preferred. Knowledge of GHSA rules and regulations preferred. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Education Bachelor's Degree required.
