Job Description
Full-Time Swim Instructor MarciSwim is hiring a Full-Time Swim Instructor to join our team! We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and confident individual who loves working with children and wants to make a meaningful difference by teaching an essential life skill. MarciSwim specializes in private swim instruction with a strong focus on water safety, confidence, and helping children become independent swimmers. Our instructors work closely with children and families in a fun, active, and fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Provide private and swim instruction to varying ages and skill levels, from 9 months to 90 years old Teach water safety and swimming skills using MarciSwim's established teaching methods Create a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment Communicate professionally with parents about their child's lessons and progress Maintain a strong focus on swimmer safety at all times Arrive on time and prepared for all scheduled lessons Assist with basic pool and program operations as needed Travel to designated lesson locations when required Represent MarciSwim in a friendly and professional manner Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you are: Dependable and punctual Energetic and comfortable working with children Confident in and around the water Patient while also being able to provide clear, firm instruction Friendly and comfortable communicating with parents Able to take direction and follow an established teaching program Comfortable working outdoors and being in the water for extended periods Looking for consistent work Previous swim instruction, lifeguarding, coaching, teaching, childcare, or other experience working with children is a plus.
