Position Overview:

Creekside High School is looking to hire an Assistant Football Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This is a part-time stipend position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive football program that promotes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Assist in planning and leading football practices and team meetings.
• Assist in coordinating and attending all football events, including games, competitions, and community performances.
• Collaborate with school administrators, athletic directors, and other coaches to ensure the success of the football program.
• Maintain open communication with coaches, athletes, parents, and boosters regarding team activities, schedules, and expectations.
• Manage eligibility and administrative policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience in football, preferably at the high school level.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to promoting a positive team culture and fostering the personal development of student-athletes.
• Required Certification in CPR, First Aid, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion, and Heat Illness
• Willingness to adhere to all school and athletic department policies and procedures.

The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates. The Three-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate is issued to provide time to complete the Five-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate requirements. An additional Athletic Coaching Certificate is not required for individuals who hold a valid Florida Educator's Certificate.
