Job Description

Wolves Academy Youth Basketball Coach (Savannah Wolves Youth Basketball Academy) Wolves Academy is looking for a youth basketball coach to lead one of our teams (ages 10-12) from April through June. This is an opportunity to work directly with players, help them improve, and be part of a structured basketball program focused on long-term development.
About Wolves Academy:
Wolves Academy (Savannah Wolves Youth Basketball Academy) is a youth basketball program based in Savannah, GA focused on building better players. Our goal is simple — help players improve. We use both training and team environments to teach fundamentals, decision-making, and how to play the game the right way. We are not focused on chasing wins. We are focused on helping players grow and get better over time.
Key Responsibility:
Serve as the lead coach for one of our teams (ages 10-12) Plan and run team practices Coach during games Teach fundamentals, spacing, and basic game concepts
Structure:
You will begin working alongside Wolves Academy staff You will transition into leading the team independently
Coaching Approach:
We are looking for a coach who takes pride in helping players improve. This role is about teaching, not just coaching games. If your main focus is winning, this is not the right fit. What we're looking for: Someone who enjoys working with youth players Basic basketball background (playing or coaching) Able to demonstrate and explain fundamentals Reliable and consistent Willing to learn and follow a structured approach Availability (Required): Weekend availability is required
April:
1 day per weekend
May-June:
2 days per weekend
Compensation:
Stipend:
$800-$1,200 total (paid at the end of the season) Final amount based on experience, reliability, and overall performance
