2026-01241 Description •Applicants seeking short-term or part-time work with the University of Hawai'i may apply for Casual Hire positions, which include administrative, professional, and technical (APT) or instructional-type positions. Because of the temporary nature of these appointments, Casual Hire employees are not eligible for most benefits as provided to regular Board of Regents (BOR) and Civil Service employees. Casual Hire temporary appointment is expected to begin July 2026 or soon thereafter. Not to exceed one year. Duties and Responsibilities Develop a program that will be competitive in the Pacific West Conference. Successfully recruit and retain both academically and athletically motivated student athletes who will have a positive impact on the program and campus. Plan, schedule, and conduct team practices and workouts. Prepare annual (conference and non-conference) schedules for submission to the Director of Athletics. Manage all aspects of home contests, including coordination of facilities and officials. Make travel arrangements for the entire travel party Work with the Associate Athletic Director to coordinate team travel by arranging flights, lodging, rental cars, and providing required documentation to process travel requests and completions. Provide necessary documentation to office staff to process travel requests/completions Responsible for keeping inventory, ordering, and maintaining uniforms, supplies and equipment as needed. Responsible for coordinating the program's fundraising activities and the outreach of alumni. Responsible for completing and submitting all required compliance forms, including CARA and recruitment logs, in a timely manner. Knows and abides by the rules, regulations and policies of the University of Hawaii, the Athletics Department, the Pacific West Conference, and the NCAA. Performs other duties/functions as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in any field and three (3) years/seasons of experience coaching collegiate golf; or any equivalent combination of education and/or coaching experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated. Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state. Desirable Qualifications Prior
NCAA DII
coaching experience. Experience coaching Women's Golf at the collegiate level in a head coach position.
