We are currently hiring for positions for tots coaches through competitve team! You'll help the students learn how to safely progress, teach them new skills, and reach their goals in a positive and safe environment! This is a part time after school position, + Saturday mornings, that can grow into more of a full time position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate for this position has prior experience working with children, can maintan high and positive energy, has strong communication skills, and the ability to work one-on-one and with small groups. Prior gymnastics coaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

Teach tumbling and other gymnastics techniques. Teach little ones how to wait in line, basic coordination, and body awareness through movements. Follow proper spotting techniques. Follow each levels curriculum to ensure safe progressions. Coordinate with other instructors to maximize the teaching effectiveness in the gym. Ensure that the equipment is properly and safely set up before each use. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed in the gym. Maintain a positive and safe environment with every class. Helpful Qualifications Sports coaching experience Teaching background Childcare experience Knowledge of Physical education, Gymnastics, Parkour Ability to communicate effectively Experience working with children in sports Familiarity with activities like Climbing, Judo, Karate, Martial Arts Schedule Must be able to start work by 2:45pm on weekdays, and 7:45am Saturday. Shifts are typically 3-6 hours long, and remain pretty active for the duration of each shift.
