Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for recruiting and coaching throwers for the Men's/Women's Track & Field program within established college, A-R-C and NCAA guidelines. Essential Functions Statement(s) . Given that the College is a diocesan Catholic college, will carry out your functions of your position in support of the College's Catholic Identity, mission and in support of Church teachings. Develop and implement program culture and philosophy in collaboration with head coach and other assistant coaches Responsible for identification, evaluation, and recruitment of throwers Responsible for daily practice planning and implementation of throws practice Plan and implement strength and conditioning programming for throwers Coordinate practice schedules and meetings for throwers Monitor academic progress of track and field student-athletes Assists in the coordination of travel arrangements for road trips. May represent the college and track and field program at American Rivers Conference meetings. Supports the mission and vision of the College and respects the College's Catholic tradition. Performs related duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
