Participants of all ages on the team should gain an understanding of good sportsmanship, confidence, and the core values of the

What You'll Do:
Support the Head Coach in daily practice planning and implementation. Provide positive, safe, and age-appropriate instruction to swimmers of varying skill levels. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and the YMCA's core values both in and out of the pool. Assist with swim meets, including warm-ups, timing, and coaching on deck. Help maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Qualifications Competitive swimming or coaching background preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills with youth and families. Ability to work evenings and weekends for practices and meets. CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain). Must be able to become USA Swimming certified Must be at least 16 years of age. Perks of working at the Y! CPR/AED/FA
certification (classes provided through the YMCA) and pass a state mandated background check for child care workers. This position is open to candidates 16 years of age and older.
