Qualifications:
Program Alignment:
Assists in leading the team while ensuring all instruction and expectations align seamlessly with the head coach and overarching program philosophy.
Skill Development:
Teaches and reinforces foundational mechanics, position-specific skills, and tactical strategies to promote long-term athletic growth.
Communication & Collaboration:
Communicates clearly and builds constructive, supportive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and fellow coaches.
Safety & Inclusivity:
Establishes a safe, inclusive environment that prioritizes athlete well-being, injury prevention, and exemplary sportsmanship.
Culture & Teamwork:
Cultivates a positive, high-energy team culture centered on accountability, effort, personal growth, and unity.
Preparation & Execution:
Collaborates with the coaching staff to plan purposeful practices and prepare student-athletes for competition.
Professionalism:
Models strong ethical standards and pursues continuous professional learning to support the success of the players and the program.
