Qualifications:
Program Alignment & Leadership:
Directs the sophomore team while integrating all tactical instruction and expectations seamlessly into the overarching varsity program philosophy.
Skill Development:
Teaches and reinforces fundamental softball mechanics and age-appropriate game strategies to prepare underclassmen for varsity-level competition.
Communication & Collaboration:
Maintains proactive, positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and coaching staff to bridge the transition between lower-level and varsity play.
Safety & Inclusivity:
Ensures a safe, inclusive environment across practice and game settings that prioritizes athlete well-being, health safety, and exemplary sportsmanship.
Culture & Teamwork:
Cultivates a high-accountability team environment that values effort, continuous growth, mental toughness, and collective teamwork.
Preparation & Dual-Role Execution:
Designs and conducts purposeful sophomore practices and game plans while assisting varsity staff with varsity practices and game-day duties.
