Job Description

The JV Head Baseball Coach/Varsity Assistant coach will work closely with the Head Baseball Coach to support the overall development and success of the baseball program.
Specific duties include:
Serve as the Head Coach for the JV Baseball team, including planning practices, managing games, and supervising student-athletes. Assist the Varsity Head Coach with daily practices, game preparation, skill development, and overall program operations. Teach and reinforce proper baseball fundamentals, techniques, sportsmanship, teamwork and character. Help develop athletes for successful transition from the JV to varsity level. Maintain consistent communication with the Varsity Head Coach regarding player development, team needs, and program expectations. Assist with equipment management, field preparation, transportation, and other program responsibilities as assigned. Ensure student-athletes follow all school, district, conference, and IHSAA rules and expectations.
