• Assist the head coach in planning and implementing effective practice sessions and game strategies.
• Support the development of athletes' skills through individual coaching and group drills.
• Monitor and evaluate player performance during practices and games, providing constructive feedback.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among players.
• Help manage team logistics, including equipment maintenance and travel arrangements.
• Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to training and competition.
• Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administration regarding team policies, schedules, and expectations.
• Assist in scouting and analyzing opposing teams to prepare for upcoming games.
• Uphold and enforce all school policies and regulations related to athletics and student conduct.
• Attend staff meetings, coaching clinics, and professional development opportunities as required. Requirements
• Previous coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of football strategies, rules, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other coaches and staff.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain prior to the season.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during the season.
• A commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
• Background check clearance as required by school district policies.

This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law.
