This role creates a safe, positive, and motivating environment where participants of all ages and abilities can improve their skills, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love for basketball. The instructor tailors lessons to meet individual and group needs while fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Pay Rate:
50% commission for sessions per hour.Private Lessons:

Plan, organize, and deliver basketball instruction for individual lessons, group classes, and clinics. Teach core skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and court awareness. Develop and adapt lesson plans based on age, skill level, and participant goals. Strong verbal communication skills to effectively instruct, motivate, and engage participants and be able to communicate with parents and guardians regarding the lesson. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence through structured drills and scrimmages. Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help participants improve their performance. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by maintaining a controlled and supportive environment. Assist with program development, special events, and seasonal basketball camps and leagues as needed. Maintain equipment, monitor gym/court usage, and uphold club standards. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager, COO, or senior leadership. Passion for basketball and teaching. Ability to inspire, motivate, and connect with participants of all ages. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Team-oriented mindset with a focus on member satisfaction. Requirements Ability to demonstrate basketball skills, including running, jumping, shooting, dribbling, and defensive movements. Must be able to stand, move, and remain active for extended periods of time (up to several hours). Ability to lift, carry, and set up sports equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. Sufficient vision, hearing, and mobility to ensure a safe environment and provide clear instruction. Capability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Must be CPR/AED certified or obtain certification within 3 months of hire (training provided by the Club).QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Previous experience playing and/or coaching basketball required; collegiate-level experience a plus. Strong communication, motivational, and leadership skills. Ability to tailor coaching techniques to various skill levels. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.Preferred/Plus:
Prior coaching or teaching experience with youth, teens, and/or adults. Experience in a luxury or high-end service environment with a focus on personalized guest interactions.
