Full Job Description Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Gymnastics Coach / Tumbling Instructor Our Mission George's Gym is focused on enriching the lives of families and communities spanning all demographics. We pride ourselves on always putting children first and providing equitable, accessible programs that foster imagination while promoting physical, mental, and social growth. George's Gym is a fully mobile business dedicated to bringing engaging tumbling and fitness classes directly to children in schools, daycares, camps, and other locations throughout Chicago and the Southern Suburbs. We handle all logistics by bringing our own equipment and transforming client spaces into fun mini gyms! At George's Gym, we believe all children deserve access to high-quality programs regardless of location or background. To support this mission, we offer up to 50% of our classes at discounted rates to under-resourced and marginalized communities. The remaining classes are offered to private schools and organizations, with proceeds helping support our discounted programming. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced individuals who love working with children and have a passion for gymnastics to join our team. This position will primarily support our Summer Camp Program , with the intent to continue into the 2026-2027 school year . In addition to camps and classes, George's Gym also offers birthday parties and special events , which can provide additional opportunities for hours and weekend work for interested coaches. Our goal in every class is for students to have an amazing experience while making a positive impact on their confidence, development, and overall well-being.

Hours:

10-12 hours per week,

Monday-Friday Pay:

$20-$23 per hour (depending on experience) Position will begin with our Summer Camp Program with opportunities to continue into the school year Requirements MUST have experience spotting preschool-aged children in a professional gymnastics setting MUST be at least 21 years old MUST have gymnastics coaching experience Experience working with young children strongly preferred To learn more about George's Gym, please visit: https://www.georgesgymllc.com/class-program-information.html Responsibilities Provide high-quality instruction in tumbling, gymnastics, and fitness to students of varying ages and skill levels Ensure the safety of all participants during classes and activities Utilize effective coaching techniques to improve student skills and confidence Monitor and assess student progress while offering encouragement and feedback Collaborate with team members to create a positive, supportive, and energetic learning environment
