A Coach works with individual athletes or with sports teams to develop skills and improve teamwork and competitive performance. Runs practice sessions and physical conditioning programs; assesses the strengths and weaknesses of players; plans strategies for games; motivates and encourage players and teaches good sportsmanship.
Glenbrook South High School is seeking internal applicants to serve as Assistant Football Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The Assistant Football Coach will have a deep understanding of the game, a commitment to student-athlete development, and the ability to inspire and motivate young athletes. The 1.0 FTE stipend for this position will be established based on the Assistant Athletic Coach salary schedule (Category 11).
