ISBE certified or ASEP certified Previous coaching and playing experience Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Summary:

The JJHS Assistant Wrestling Coach will be responsible for helping build and maintain the wrestling program which will include, but not limited to: Maintaining levels of competition Monitoring all athletes academic progress Following and enforcing established eligibility requirements of District 12 Running individual practices to provide individual and team development Following team rules and goals that are shared with players and parents Following established procedures in the event of an injury to an athlete Ensuring all athletes are supervised at all times when involved with team activities Acting as a positive role model and maintains proper sportsmanship on the team at all times Maintaining an inventory of all equipment Attending professional development clinics/conferences specific to wrestling Interested candidates should fill out the online application and send a letter of interest and coaching resume to Athletic Director, Brad Winn bwinn@johnsburg12.org.
