High School Boy's Soccer Coach for the 2026-2027 Fall Season
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Experience or Training Valid Illinois State Teaching, Substitute, and/or ASEP Certification Knowledge of the sport Previous coaching experience at the high school level Desired Experience or Training Demonstrated ability in the teaching and coaching of a Soccer program in a multicultural high school and/or unit district Which include: Establishes the fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques to be taught by staff. Trains and informs staff, encourages professional growth by encouraging clinic attendance according to local clinic policy. Provides written rules of coach's expectations for student participation in sports. Completes pre-season planning well in advance of starting date. Files a written report to the Athletic Director before the season begins. Conducts well-organized practice sessions. Develops a well-organized game plan. Is innovative, new techniques, ideas, etc., along with established procedures for coaching. Shows respect (verbal, physical, psychological) for all athletes, parents and colleagues. Instills in athletes a competitive spirit for individual and team growth and a desire for intellectual growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Main Has a thorough knowledge of all Athletic Policies approved by the Lisle Board of Education and is responsible for its implementation by the participants in the sports program. Has knowledge of existing district, state, and league regulations; implements same consistently. Understand the proper administrative line of command and refer all requests or grievances through proper channels. Is aware of all public/staff/departmental meetings that require attendance. Attends all required public/staff/departmental meetings and actively contributes to the meeting. Performs any appropriate duties that the Head Coach may assign.
Compensation and Benefits:
Based on the LEA Collective Bargaining Agreement commensurate with experience. (see attached)
