Job Description

The position will be responsible for supervising/coaching youth in a team setting. Programs typically take place on weeknights Mon-Thur, with coaches working all 4 evenings M/W or T/TH pending various shifts. The season will begin approx. the first week of September and run through mid-Octobrer. Programs
  • Junior Pee Wee Soccer (Age 3)
  • Learning Basic Skills and Team Based Play (Mon-Thur 5-6pm) Pee Wee Soccer (Ages 4-5)
  • Learning Basic Team Play, Utilizing Soccer Skills such as Dribbling, Passing, Striking, 3v3 games (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thur) Soccer Stars (ages 6-8)
  • Utilizing all previous skills, fine tuning the basics of soccer, playing 4v4 games (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) All-Star Soccer League (ages 9-11)
  • Enhancing soccer skills for next level, introducing players to the Goalie position, games played 5v5 (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) Position Begins Aug. 31
  • Oct. 8 (rain outs Oct 12-15)
  • Instructing small groups of children (Ages 4-11)
  • Communicating information to parents on a regular basis
  • Enforcing program rules
  • Care of supplies and equipment
  • Coaches will work together on a field coaching approx. 2 teams per field/ 2 coaches per field
  • Must have knowledge of the sport of soccer
  • Must be able to demonstrate proper techniques to participants
  • Must enjoy working with young children
  • Must be outgoing and able to lead Preferred age is 18 years and older.
Exceptions can be made for applicants with prior coaching and/or playing experience.
