Job Description
This position will be responsible for teaching children, 6 months-15 years, the fundamentals of learning to swim through the use of games, song and repetition. Work hours will be Monday-Thursday evenings from 6-830pm. Lessons will be taught at Normal West and Normal Community High School Pools.
Examples of Work Performed:
- Assist in developing a plan for specific levels in the program
- Instructing small groups of children (3-4 per instructor)
- Enforcing program rules
- Care of supplies and equipment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to swim proficiently
- Ability to demonstrate basic swim skills
