Job Description
This position will be responsible for supervising/coaching youth basketball in a team setting. School ages will range from kindergarten to 5th grade. With a small Jr. High clinical program for grades 6th-8th. During the week teams will practice together in a clinical styled setting, working on various drills and skills and on the weekends play controlled games using the skills they've learned. This is a youth developmental league, where we teach and reinforce the basics of the sport of Basketball, encourage equal and fair play for all and instruct all players in the same manner. Practices typically take place on weeknights Monday
- Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm and games played Saturday mornings between (7:00a-3:00pm). The program will take place from January 12

Typical Work Schedule:
Monday- Thursday 5:30-7:30pm and Saturdays 7:00a-2:00pm or Monday/Wednesday 5:30-7:30pm and Saturdays 7:00-2:00pm or Tuesday/Thursday 5:30-7:30pm and Saturdays 7:00-2:00pm
- Assist in developing a practice plan for the program
- Instructing small groups of children (8-10 players per team)
- Communicating information to parents on a regular basis
- Enforcing program rules
- Care of supplies and equipment (provided)
- Must have knowledge of the sport of basketball
- Must be able to demonstrate proper techniques to participants
- Must enjoy working with children
- Must be outgoing and able to lead Required age is 18 years and older.
