Job Description

Quincy University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, invites applications for the position of Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a representative of the University, promoting Quincy University's mission, image, and goals to colleagues, student-athletes, and the community.
  • Assist the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach in developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for Quincy University student-athletes.
  • Assist with scheduling team strength and conditioning sessions.
  • Help maintain and organize the athletic weight room and ensure the proper upkeep of strength and conditioning equipment.
  • Assist in monitoring and enforcing safety procedures within the weight room.
  • Maintain required CPR and strength and conditioning certifications.
  • Abide by the policies, regulations, and rules of the NCAA, the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and Quincy University, including the Quincy University Code of Ethics for Coaches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous experience in strength and conditioning, preferably in a collegiate setting.
  • CPR certification and appropriate strength and conditioning certification (or the ability to obtain certification within a specified period).
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student-athlete population.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.
Salary:
$32,000-$35,000
