About Us:
DeVeau's School of Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics facility located in Fishers, Indiana with over 40 years of excellence in training athletes. We are committed to providing a positive, high-level training environment where gymnasts can grow in both skill and character. Our team is passionate, experienced, and focused on developing athletes from the ground up—whether they're just starting out or training at the highest competitive levels.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dependable Competitive Gymnastics Team Coach to join our team. This coach will work with athletes ranging from Pre-Team through Level 10 (and/or Xcel), focusing on skill development, technique, and confidence while fostering a positive team culture. The ideal candidate is a team player, passionate about gymnastics, and committed to athlete development and safety.
Responsibilities:
Coach and spot athletes on all four women's gymnastics events (experience with boys' optional or Xcel programs is a plus) Plan and implement structured, level-appropriate practices Provide positive, constructive feedback to athletes Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and staff Attend team competitions and travel as needed Maintain a safe, organized, and encouraging environment
Qualifications:
Prior experience coaching competitive gymnastics (compulsory, optional, or Xcel) Strong spotting and technical skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work evenings and weekends as required USA Gymnastics professional membership (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
