Part-time Job Description:
Train and develop youth by analyzing gameplay, creating strategies, and fostering teamwork and communication. Organize, prepare, and conduct team practice and competition.
KEY ROLES
(Essential Job Responsibilities) Prepare Youth for Success Directs and coordinates all aspects, areas, and components of the Esports team Recruits and retains youth for the Esports program Organizes, schedules, prepares, and conducts individual and team practices, training, team building activities, and competitions, along with coordination and management with third-party gaming platform vendor Determines team roster for practices and competitions Oversees computer equipment usage; assists students with set-up and operation of equipment Oversees and manages the program budget, including ordering of supplies, equipment, uniforms, and subscriptions services Supervises students during practice times and competitions, including off-site travel Works with Club administration to establish a vision for the program by establishing, publicizing, and promoting the program Performs additional job-related duties as assigned or as appropriate
  • Experience with Smash Bros, Fortnite, Madden, 2K Health & Safety
  • Ensure a healthy, safe, clean and organized environment in program areas.
  • Ensure club youth utilize equipment and supplies in a safe and respectful manner. Internal/External Communication
  • Establish ongoing communication with Program Director and Teen Director.
  • Communicate with parents as needed

PM Experience:
  • High school Diploma (Required)
  • Some college in related field (Preferred)
  • Coaching/Esports coaching experience
  • Interest in Esports/gaming
  • Experience working with high school students and experience as a player is desired.
  • Prior experience working with youth
  • Capacity to relate to a diverse demographic of youth
  • Ability to motivate youth and manage behavioral problems
  • Ability to work hand and hand with youth's parent
  • Completion of the required trainings per Employee Handbook
Valid State Drivers License Relationships :
Internal :
Maintain daily communication with Before School Coordinator, Unit Director, Teen Director and Club members to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.
License/Certification:
  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
