Job Description

Strength & Conditioning Coach Location:
Proven Performance Physical Therapy - Northwest Indiana About Proven Performance At Proven Performance, we help active adults and athletes get back to doing what they love through sports performance physical therapy and evidence-based performance training. We're looking for a motivated Strength & Conditioning Coach who wants to help build something special. This is an opportunity to grow into a leadership role as our strength and conditioning department expands. Position Summary The Strength & Conditioning Coach will be responsible for coaching, and growing our performance training program for youth athletes, adult athletes, and active adults. This individual will work closely with our physical therapists and athletic trainers to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and high-level performance. This position will begin as part-time with a clear pathway to full-time based on performance and program growth. Responsibilities Design individualized strength and conditioning programs. Coach small group, semi-private, and one-on-one performance sessions. Collaborate daily with physical therapists regarding patient progress. Transition rehabilitation patients into long-term performance memberships. Provide exceptional coaching and create an outstanding client experience. Assist with performance testing using VALD technology. Document workouts and progress through our coaching software. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment. Attend weekly team meetings and continuing education. Assist with workshops, community events, and sports team outreach. Build relationships with local athletes, coaches, and organizations. Expectations Deliver world-class coaching every session. Build trust and long-term relationships with athletes and families. Communicate professionally with staff and clients. Continue learning and improving your coaching skills. Be punctual, prepared, and accountable. Represent Proven Performance's mission and core values both inside and outside the clinic. Consistent attendance and professionalism. Growth Grow strength and conditioning memberships. Successfully transition rehabilitation patients into performance training. Contribute to community outreach and relationship building. Assist in growing youth, high school, college, and adult performance programs. Business Meet monthly membership growth goals. Maintain strong client retention. Participate in marketing content and social media when requested. Support clinic growth through teamwork and referrals.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field. CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or equivalent. CPR/AED Certification. Excellent communication skills. Passion for coaching athletes.
Preferred:
Experience coaching youth and adult athletes. Experience with return-to-sport programming. Familiarity with force plate or performance testing technology. Experience working alongside physical therapists or sports medicine professionals. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: Loves coaching and developing athletes. Pay:
$20.55 - $29.56 per hour
