BFT is looking for an energetic, motivating, and knowledgeable Group Strength Coach to join our team! At BFT, we combine science-backed programming with high-energy coaching to help our members build strength, improve performance, and achieve lasting results. We're looking for someone who loves coaching people of all fitness levels and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Coach high-energy group strength and conditioning classes. Demonstrate and teach proper exercise technique and movement patterns. Motivate and encourage members while providing exercise modifications when needed. Build relationships with members and create a welcoming community atmosphere. Assist with setting up and cleaning equipment before and after classes. Deliver exceptional customer service and help members reach their fitness goals. Maintain a safe, positive, and professional training environment.
Qualifications:
Nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent) or group fitness certification. CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain before starting). Previous coaching or personal training experience preferred, but enthusiastic and coachable candidates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
