To Be Determined Job Description Abilene High School is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will support the head coach in building a competitive volleyball program that reflects our athletic and activity core values of commitment, effort, and teamwork. This role is ideal for someone passionate about student-athlete development and contributing to a positive team culture. Job Responsibilities (but not limited to): Support the head coach in planning and leading practices, matches, and offseason workouts Help develop players' volleyball skills, fundamentals, strategies, and game awareness Model and reinforce our core values of commitment, effort, and teamwork Build strong relationships with student-athletes while promoting academic accountability Assist with communication to players, families, and school staff Help manage equipment, uniforms, and match-day logistics Collaborate with coaching staff to support a vertically aligned program from youth through high school Uphold all school, district, and KSHSAA policies and expectations
